Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County, founded in 1912, is a non-profit visiting nurse agency providing a wide range of community-based, family-centered services in Fairfield County, Connecticut.
Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County is concerned with total family health and assists individuals and families through the various stages of health care. Services include preventive, therapeutic, respite, rehabilitative, counseling and hospice services so that individuals and families may function at an optimum level. Services are provided to individuals or groups at home, work, school or community centers.
We partner with hospitals locally, regionally and nationally to provide a full continuum of healthcare. Our partners include Norwalk Hospital, Stamford Hospital, Yale-New Haven Health System, Greenwich Hospital, Bridgeport Hospital, St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Western Connecticut Health Network, Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Hartford Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Massachusetts General Hospital, Lenox Hill Hospital, New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, Hospital for Special Surgery, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Montefiore Medical Center, Mt. Sinai Hospital, Beth Israel Hospital, and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

Our professional staff members are employees, not contract workers. Our employees are insured, professionally trained, and receive ongoing supervision.
